HOUSTON (Dec. 5, 07) – Emily deMilliano has been named communications manager at Lone Star College System.
In this capacity, she will manage Lone Star College’s system-wide efforts in media relations, community relations and public information within the Public Affairs Office, which is part of External Affairs.
deMilliano has excellent credentials, having worked in educational external affairs at both the public school and university levels. Prior to coming to Lone Star College, deMilliano served as public information officer for Huntsville ISD. Before that, she worked as assistant director for alumni affairs at Sam Houston State University.
“I’m very excited about being a part of Lone Star College,” deMilliano said. “My background is in education and I truly have a passion for it. I’m looking forward to working with Lone Star College and the surrounding communities to communicate all the wonderful opportunities within our system.”
