Financial Aid Steps

Financial aid can still be awarded for both fall 2008 and spring 2009 semesters.  Make sure you activate your LSC email address as all communications will be sent to that address. 

Financial aid is available to eligible students either in the form of grants or loans.  To determine eligibility you must complete the FAFSA and the LSCS financial aid worksheet. 

If additional paper work is needed you will be notified by email. 

Step 1: Submit FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Electronically

Note: The following codes are required for completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and the Lone Star College System financial aid application:

Mail the completed forms to the Financial Aid office of a Lone Star College System college offering the majority of your courses.

Step 3: Complete Direct Card Authorization Form On Application

Note:
If you have applied for a student loan, you must complete and return the Direct Card Authorization form to your Financial Aid office before your loan application can be processed, certified, and funds disbursed.
